Job Title: Residential Conveyancer

Location: Yorkshire, UK - can also be a fully remote position, depending on experience

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Bonus


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. This can be a fully remote position, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere while playing a critical role in our conveyancing operations. Our firm operates a completely paper-less environment, leveraging the latest technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in property law, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing complex conveyancing transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Conveyancing Transactions: Oversee and manage the conveyancing process from inception to completion, ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Client Interaction: Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring a smooth and transparent conveyancing process.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalise legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure all conveyancing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or complications that may arise during the conveyancing process.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including paralegals and administrative staff, to ensure seamless workflow and client satisfaction.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with changes in property law and conveyancing practices to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Paper-less Environment: Utilize digital tools and systems to manage all documents and communications electronically
  • Focus on Legal Work: Benefit from dedicated teams handling file openings and post-completion tasks, allowing you to concentrate on client interactions and legal responsibilities.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of fee earning/case handling experience in conveyancing
  • Education: Qualifications are beneficial but not essential
  • Skills: Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using conveyancing software and other relevant legal technology tools.
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
