If you're confident in quality containment, skilled in problem resolution, and know how to document solutions that others can follow, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.Benefits include: £15.00 per hour Weekend overtime available in peak times starting from 25%+ 28 days holiday - Inclusive of Bank Holidays Free on-site parking Employer pension contribution Excellent training and development opportunitiesThe opportunity: In this fast-paced production environment, youll work closely with the quality team to support and resolve quality concerns on the shopfloor. Whether the issue involves components, materials, or processes, youll take the lead in helping identify problems, investigating and writing clear, actionable work instructions for the team to follow.Working hours rotate every fortnight:Monday - Friday - 08:00am - 17:00pmResponsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the quality team in managing quality concerns Create and maintain high-quality Work Instructions (WES/WIS) for each resolution or process Conduct FMEA risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate potential issues Define and implement new or improved processes to ensure long-term quality improvements Communicate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure clear understanding of quality actions Use ERP/SAP and other systems to accurately log and track quality issues What were looking for: Previous experience as a Quality Technician/ Engineer, Senior Quality Inspector or similar Strong background in quality containment and problem resolution in manufacturing Skilled in writing clear, accurate Work Instructions and method statements Able to read and interpret engineering drawings; basic measuring skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally familiar with ERP/SAP systems A reliable team player with great attention to detail and flexibility to work additional shifts.This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available.If this role sounds like it could be of interest, then please apply today for a confidential chat.Established in 1994, G&P is a world-leading provider of quality management services to the manufacturing industry, primarily in the automotive, aerospace and off-highway sectors.
