The role:
This role is focused on account management of existing on-trade customers, whilst winning and developing new accounts, in line with our strategy to grow the beer and cider category in the UK.
Location – Norfolk
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Account Management of existing Independent Free Trade Customers (IFT).
- Target and win new accounts within the IFT.
- Develop account plans to drive and protect growth across multiple operators.
- Build a strong network of working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead key activations and ensure seamless execution of brand activities.
- Full ownership of your territory, volume, and financial performance.
Who we’re looking for:
- Strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience, with a commitment to career development.
- Exceptional local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in the beer or similar industry.
- Demonstrates ownership, taking personal responsibility for results, and leading by example.
- Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Preference for previous sales experience.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
- Proficient in negotiation, and objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
- Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
- Time and workload management skills to optimize effectiveness and efficiency; on-trade and premium brand experience are desirable.
- A full UK driver's license is required for this position.
