Please email if you have any further questions.Your roleHeres a quick reminder of what the role entails and what we look for in our River Tour Guides:Whats involvedDelivering a memorable punt tour that is informative inspiring and entertaining.Offering effective and courteous ticket sales within a competitive environment.Giving a warm considerate and attentive welcome to all customers.Maintaining a safe working environment on station and on the river.Providing a timely consistently high-quality service in line with our standards and Company values.What makes you a Scudamores River Tour GuideYoure friendly approachable and enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills.You enjoy engaging with people and are committed to providing outstanding customer service.Youre a confident public speaker and have an excellent command of spoken English.Youre self-motivated keen to learn and have the ability to absorb and share knowledge.Youre physically active energetic and enjoy working outdoors.The returners processOur training and coaching programme is unique to us and is the gold standard for visitor attractions in Cambridge. Its purpose is to equip our staff with the skills knowledge and confidence which will enable them to give our customers the best possible experience.With this in mind we induct all returners and assess their river tours for quality purposes before they start working for us again.To ensure we are providing our customers with the very best guided tour possible you may be asked to complete some additional training and a skills test. This will be decided depending on how long you have been away from the river and your current tour score. This will also need to be completed before you can apply for shifts.
