By automating and optimising processes youll enable our Payments Operations team to focus on higher-value ROI-driven work multiplying your impact across the business.What Youll Do Design build and maintain clean secure testable and scalable code Resolve challenging bugs and production issues ensuring reliability of the global platform Evaluate complex technical problems using sound judgement to select the right methods and approaches Improve performance and scalability of our systems as we expand worldwide Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and unlock measurable business savings Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to shape product vision and deliver real business value Mentor teammates and take initiative in leading technical projects Support recruitment efforts by helping identify and inspire great engineering talentQualifications : What Were Looking For8 years of experience in web application developmentProven track record building scalable reliable high-performance distributed systemsSolid understanding of relational databases and object-oriented fundamentalsSkilled in test-driven and behaviour-driven development (TDD/BDD)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practicesStrong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively with QAs Product and SREsExcellent communication skills able to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasivelyFluent in English (our companys working language)Experience in FinTech or the payments industry (a plus but not required)A passion for delivering high-quality code and a mindset of continuous learningTechnologies We Use For EDU or Valencia/Core teams youll be working with: Java Spring & Hibernate frameworks MySQL JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 AWS Cloud Why Join UsAt Flywire youll have the freedom to innovate the scale to make a global impact and the support of a culture that values collaboration curiosity and excellence.
