This well-established engineering and manufacturing business is entering a growth period, investing in new technologies and production capabilities. They're looking for an experienced HSE professional who can lead by example, engage at all levels, and ensure safety and compliance remain at the forefront as the business evolves. As Health, Safety and Environment Manager, you'll report to the HSE Director and lead a small team within an established HSE function. You'll drive continuous improvement, manage regulator relationships, and ensure compliance across a COMAH-regulated site. Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager will include: Managing external relationships and acting as the key point of contact with regulators and enforcement bodies including the HSE and SEPA Acting as a trusted advisor to site teams - providing guidance, training and support on HSE standards, audits and risk management Coaching a small team, managing HSE objectives, and contributing to emergency response and COMAH safety planning Developing, maintaining and improving safety and environmental management systems, driving a proactive culture of...
