Principal Software Engineer


Salary - £90-£110k


Location - London, Hybrid working


Tech includes: Python, C#, JS, React, Cloud, Devops


I am working with a leading AI Product & Solutions company who is continuing to grow year on year and are fast approaching their 10 year anniversary

They operate globally across Africa, Europe and into the US and partner with well known brands and academic institutions.

They are an AI specialist and this role will specifically sit in their biology department; so you will really be able to see the benefit globally of your work on people's day lives.


The role deliverables:

  • You would be part of advancing state of the art software engineering - of which their AI and biology teams will use to deliver projects to impact people worldwide.
  • You would develop high scalable , reliable and complex enterprise systems - from architecture through to delivery.
  • You would bring and deliver the latest software engineering applications and technology across full stack, cloud and devops capabilities.
  • You would also be looking to step into a hands-on management role within your career here. So likely a team of 3-5 people as your role grows within your first year.


Your skills:

  • You would be working at a hands-on senior/ principal level and have expertise across delivering large complex software engineering projects.
  • You would work across the full stack tech landscape, ideally Python (but they are open to C#) & JS/ React. You would also have high levels of experience across Cloud & Devops tools (this can be any vendor)
  • You would have had experience - either academically or commercially within the biology field - so this can be medical research, working with biological data or scientists etc
