As the Head of SEO, you will be at the forefront of the Company's SEO proposition, leading and developing comprehensive strategies that significantly enhance organic search rankings, drive substantial brand growth, and achieve measurable business outcomes for our clients. This senior role demands a strategic thinker with a robust technical background, a passion for staying ahead of industry trends, and proven leadership experience.
Key responsibilities
Clients & SEO Strategy Development:
- Lead the development and execution of industry-leading, data-driven SEO strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of a diverse range of clients, incorporating AI and cutting-edge technology.
- Continuously refine and adapt strategies based on performance data, industry trends, and client objectives.
- Ensure all strategies align with the broader business goals, delivering significant ROI and measurable results.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of SEO specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Provide guidance on best practices, emerging industry trends, and innovative approaches to SEO.
- Oversee the professional development and performance management of the SEO team, ensuring continuous growth and skill enhancement.
- Spearhead the expansion of the SEO team, driving recruitment and team development initiatives.
New Business & Product Development:
- Play a critical role in the development and refinement of Stellar's SEO product, integrating it seamlessly into the agency's overall performance offerings.
- Actively contribute to new business development by crafting compelling pitch materials and participating in the onboarding process for new clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the agency's product offerings, ensuring that SEO remains a core component of Stellar's digital marketing strategies.
About You:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SEO, with a significant portion in a leadership role within an agency environment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies across a range of industries, particularly in e-commerce and other high-growth verticals.
- Deep technical expertise in SEO, including experience with AI, automation, and the latest SEO tools and platforms.
- Exceptional client management skills with the ability to build strong relationships and drive business outcomes.
- Experience in leading and growing teams, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, professional development, and performance management.
- Ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with a strong ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and continuously seeking out new opportunities for growth and innovation.
