History Teacher Fulltime Permanent Position Surrey

Our client a highly regarded secondary school in Surrey is seeking an experienced and passionate History Teacher to join their esteemed department. This fulltime permanent position commences in January and presents a unique opportunity to deliver an inspiring and comprehensive curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and stimulating History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop innovative lesson plans that align with the schools curriculum objectives.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest teaching methodologies and subjectmatter expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • A strong passion for History and a commitment to inspiring students curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students parents and colleagues.
