As a member of the IoT Edge Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to build upon your existing background, knowledge, and expertise. You will contribute to Arm technology deployed in the next generation of AI and IoT systems at the Edge, enabling the safe execution of complex workload scenarios. You will join a team of software developers who share a passion for making their mark on the future of computing, wherever it may lead.

 

Responsibilities:


This role is to lead a small team of firmware engineers specialising in integrating, validating and proving a complete software stack on the latest ARM platform for the IoT market segment.

 

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Provide technical direction and line management for a team of engineers.
  • Analyse roadmap requirements, break down tasks, and help implement project plans.
  • Guide on the best software development practices.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new features, as well as testing on various platforms including software models and FPGA systems.


Required Skills and Experience :

  • You have a passion for line management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • You are proficient in C programming and eager to tackle new challenges.
  • You have expertise in low-level systems, platform bring-up, bootloaders, and firmware.
  • You possess solid knowledge of Linux system engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
  • You are driven to test code and implement and maintain CI/CD systems.


“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • You understand open source project development cycles and contribution processes.
  • You have knowledge of AOSP, TF-A, TF-M, UEFI EDK II, U-Boot, and Xen/pKVM.
  • You have experience with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
