Led by experienced, well-regarded partners, the firm offers a flexible, supportive environment and a consistently strong pipeline of advisory and contentious matters.The OpportunityThe firm is seeking a senior Employment Lawyer (around 10 years PQE or above) to provide part-time support of approximately 3 hours per day. This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner who enjoys autonomy, wants a meaningful and impactful caseload, and values the flexibility of remote working.You will work closely with the partner team, particularly during a period of increased workflow and planned parental leave. The successful candidate will manage files independently, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure seamless continuity of service.Key ResponsibilitiesRunning a mixed advisory and contentious employment caseload, predominantly claimant-focused.Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, whistleblowing, redundancy and settlement negotiations.Drafting ET1s, ET3s, schedules of loss, witness statements and correspondence.Managing files autonomously, including strategy, risk assessment, and client updates.Ensuring high levels of responsiveness and client care in line with the firm’s standards.Liaising with counsel where required.Providing seamless continuity of support to the partnership team.About Youc.10 years PQE or above in Employment Law (more experienced candidates very welcome).Strong track record in advising and representing claimant clients.Able to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communicator with the confidence to handle a highly varied caseload.Comfortable working remotely and maintaining a high degree of organisation and responsiveness.Someone who values flexibility but also delivers consistently high-quality work.Engagement OptionsConsultancy/Contract basis (self-employed), orPart-time employed contract, depending on preference and structure.The firm is open to discussing the most suitable arrangement for the right individual.HoursApproximately 3 hours per day, with flexibility on when these hours are delivered.Scope for increased hours if required.Why Join?Work with a respected partner team and a genuinely high-quality claimant caseload.Fully remote, flexible working that fits around other commitments.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact for clients going through life-changing employment issues.
