Boden Group are delighted to be working with a prestigious education setting to recruit a Premises Manager based in North London.The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the property management of the College and the Prep School, (collectively known as ‘the School’) liaising regularly with the Head of Estates on site management issues.The Premises Manager is responsible for ensuring that the premises and grounds of the College and Prep School are maintained at the highest possible level through regular close inspection of all buildings to provide a safe environment for all pupils, staff, contractors and other visitors.What will else will you be doing? * Manage a team of three caretakers * Plan and manage maintenance refurbishment programmes in consultation with the Head of Estates * Attend weekly Premises meeting with the Head of Estates at which the priorities are identified * Work with the Head of Estates to prepare works specifications, tender documentation, and bids for funding, as required to support project works * Ensure records of utilities, meter readings, health and safety, and all other scheduled maintenance checks etc are maintained.What are we looking for in an applicant? * Proven successful experience in site management role. * Experience of managing a team including the performance of others. * Experience of managing capital works from start to finish. * Experience of contract management and procurement of specialists. * Experience of health and safety issues and management * Experience of managing budgets and of monitoring invoices from a multitude of external contractors. * Experience of working in an educational establishment (desirable). * Time management skills and experience of managing a varied workload with the minimum of supervision and direction.To be considered for this role – please do not hesitate in applying via this advert
