A client within the Public Sector based in Shropshire is currently recruiting for a Electrical Compliance Officer to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a compliance and building services environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role is to ensure the highest standards of electrical compliance and safety across the Council’s estate, delivering high-quality, cost-effective services that meet regulatory requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:• Reviewing service report documentation, addressing findings, and ensuring compliance is consistently maintained.• Managing contractor performance, including KPIs and corrective actions where required.• Preparing, reviewing, and updating service contract specifications in line with legislation and Council standards.• Carrying out audits, inspections, and monitoring of building services systems to ensure compliance with regulations.• Supporting the creation of a planned maintenance and asset replacement programme.• Providing guidance to staff and colleagues on compliance and safety practices.The CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require:• A degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline,...
