As an Early Years Apprentice you will focus on high quality affordable childcare from 9 months - 5 years of age.Key DetailsSalary:7.90 per hourWorking hours: Monday Friday rotating 7 am to 4 pm 8 am to 5 pm 9 am to 6 pm (shift work) 30 minutes break. 42.5 hours per weekLocation: Buds that blossom 57 Lower Road Chinnor OX39 4DUApprenticeship Details 19 months expected duration to complete working towards your Early Years Level 3 Apprenticeship. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).Training Provider:LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)You will be responsible for working effectively with colleagues to ensure that the learning environment is appropriate to meeting all childrens individual needs and responsible for key children and cohort tracking of key children group. Your day to day duties will include:To contribute to the room planning.To understand the requirements of the EYFS health and safety and Ofsted.To fulfil the role of a Key Person and work in partnership with parents/carers ensuring all childrens individual needs are met including observing planning and evaluating developmental activities.Ensuring key childrens learning journeys next steps and cohort tracking is up to date.To liaise professionally and courteously with parents children and colleagues and visitors in a polite and professional manner seeking help or signposting to the correct person within the nursery.To prepare daily activities for all children for all children whilst adhering to the EYFS.To interact effectively with all children. 8. To ensure the process for new children and children who are transitioning is followed appropriately.To ensure the procedures for own key children transitioning are followed and all paperwork is up to date.To carry out peer-to-peer observations termly.To assist in the setting up of the room in the morning throughout the day and closing the room in the evening.To support the team with hygiene for children including nappies toileting face and hands wiping and changing a childs clothes.To maintain records and reports.To assist with general cleaning tidying and sterilising.To contribute to the display boards.To adhere to and implement all nursery policies and procedures.Desired skills & Personal qualities:Enthusiastic about making a differenceGood interpersonal communication and teamwork skillsReliable committed and punctualHave a passion for supporting children with their learning and developmentDesired qualifications:DBS must be completed once successfulAbout the EmployerBuds that Blossom Chinnor is situated on Lower Road.
