Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Rotherham. They are currently seeking the very best people, to further strengthen their position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success.The Electrical Maintenance Technician role:They are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with a background in machine repair, PPM and problem solving at their Barnsley site.The role involves working as part of a small team to carry out, in accordance with the relevant legislation and safe systems of work.The key responsibilities of their Electrical Maintenance Technician will include:Production plant and equipment maintenancePlanned and preventative maintenanceDay to day machine breakdown resolutionTo fulfil this Electrical Maintenance Technician role you must:Be an experienced multi-skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 4 years industrial experience, NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.Have previous experience in a fast paced engineering environment.Work a 4 shift rota, 7 days.Be computer literate with experience of CMMS systemsBe able to work under your own initiativeBe willing to work overtime to cover spikes in production demand and holiday/sickness cover within the department.This position will be rewarded with a competitive salary.
