DescriptionABOUT YOUWe are looking for a Project Manager who excels in both internal and external stakeholder management possesses strong forecasting skills for project delivery encompassing cost and revenue and has proven experience in client communications project planning and execution.Required skills and experience:Good verbal and communication skillsFully Proficient in computer programs such as Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook and the internetStrong organisational and time management skillsWilling to be hands-on working at all levelsGood problem identification and solving skillsFlexible approach to travel and working hoursA strong team playerA highly self-motivated driven and ambitious candidate looking to play a pivotal part in the operations of our businessABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYTo lead projects and act as liaison between clients business lines sales and technical teams to effectively manage and develop specific projects. The role will have direct responsibility for accurate project delivery forecasting in terms of both cost and revenue client communications and general project management. The role will also support the sales team in relation to the projects in commercial discussions and provide the basis for quotations delivered by them.Key activities:To lead the operational project team and actively engage with business development & clients to grow the breadth and depth of the service offeringTo be a proactive member of the team at Intertek and to work closely with all other members of the laboratory team maintaining good personal relationships at all timesTo lead on project monitoring and act as a link between sales and operational teams in projecting delivery and valueTo maintain financial control over projects and forecast accuratelyDevelop and deploy processes and training to all relevant members of the teamTo lead on key projects and act as the client interface in higher-level discussions and to manage client expectationsTo ensure that all relevant KPIs and service levels are metWHAT WE OFFERJoin Intertek and become part of our global network of inspiring and entrepreneurial colleagues.
