The Company Our client is a market leading niche manufacturer; due to growth they are looking to recruit a Product Manager. The Role * To manage and promote products manufactured in order to achieve and if possible, exceed the budgeted contribution margins. * Manage performance of product portfolio of design products. * Support new business opportunities and help grow product sales. * Ability to manage small project teams. * Manage and take ownership for a selection of products within the portfolio to achieve NPD numbers, profitability and support consistent performance. * Identify opportunities for cost reduction by having a thorough understanding of individual items current technical developments and process capabilities. * Aim to reduce business complexity within the business. * Improve sales performance by developing more profitable introductions. * Develop new designs, colours and structures. * Constantly look at ways to improve the overall finish and performance of new introductions. * Utilise the NPD and I process to drive projects where applicable.
