Overview:

A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice working from the very busy office in the Cwmbran office dealing with mortgages up to £500k, with an average property value of £175k.

Main Duties:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) mortgage advisor or mortgage broker or mortgage adviser to work with an established team of professional introducers in the Cwmbran area.

Over 200 properties were sold per month in 2023, according to Rightmove, offering plenty of mortgage appointments. Our client will allow you as an experienced mortgage advisor to carry out 10 new mortgage appointments per week. The leads are generated via the incentivised team of introducers, as well as allowing full unlimited access to the existing client base.

Working as a team, as an experienced mortgage advisor, you should be looking to write 2-3 mortgages a week, with an average case size of £2000 including the broker and proc fee as well as life business.

With our client offering a sliding commission scale, based on averages you will earn £200 -£500 per case.

With the whole of the mortgage market and a strong panel of protection providers, our client offers fantastic earnings potential.

Key Skills:

As you will be the sole mortgage advisor or mortgage broker or mortgage adviser working within the Cwmbran branch, an excellent knowledge of mortgages and the various associated protection products is essential along with the CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).

Applications will be considered from individuals from a tied, Independent, or banking mortgage environment if they can show a good track record in mortgage sales if the CeMAP, CF6 or MAQ qualification along with CAS has been attained.

Along with previous mortgage experience, a clean credit history, a clean compliance record, no criminal convictions, as well as a full UK driving licence is essential.
