Key Account Manager

We’re hiring Join a global Tier One supplier in the automotive industry as a Key Account Manager for Diesel Products in the UK & Eire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and develop sales of Diesel products to meet budgeted targets.
- Support growth in revenues and market share across all distribution channels.
- Manage key commercial accounts, ensuring targets for revenue, profitability, and financial KPIs are met.
- Conduct proactive, regular face-to-face reviews with strategic accounts and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and submit bids for new requests, including fleet and national projects.
- Collaborate with distributors and support field sales activities, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Work closely with internal teams to implement the go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain distributor segmentation and price strategy.
- Build strong relationships at all levels within the business and ensure clear communication of promotions and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
What we’re looking for
- Sales/Business School Degree (Associate Degree)
- 7+ experience in Automotive Industry
- Strong knowledge of Aftermarket business: Customers, products, competition & distribution channels
- UKIAM Aftermarket knowledge
- Diesel Systems and Product knowledge
- Experience in dealing with Key UK Diesel Distributors, UK buying groups and customers
- Recognized qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair
