Our client is a well established Buy-Side enterprise with over 15 years of experience within Private Equity space. Who is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our client's investment team as an Investment Manager in the Private Equity division. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing our global private equity portfolio.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the private equity portfolio, including overseeing existing managers and evaluating new investment opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial and market data to inform investment decisions and strategy.
  • Lead investment due diligence processes with oversight from senior team members.
  • Generate investment recommendations and contribute to the overall investment strategy.
  • Provide oversight of internal and external reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize various portfolio management tools to measure, model, and evaluate portfolio attributes.
  • Actively participate in meetings with investment managers, both independently and with senior staff.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as needed to support the overall investment objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing private equity portfolios and evaluating investment opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of private investment fund structures and performance evaluation metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Domo, or Microsoft Power BI preferred.
  • Knowledge of coding languages like SQL, VBA, and Python is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts internally and externally.
  • Willingness to stay informed about new investment strategies and opportunities in the private equity space.
