Procurement Analyst

Your new role We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in procurement processes. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate spend data, supporting global projects, and ensuring compliance across supplier contracts. Update and maintain the spend cube (Excel/macros), including addressable and non-addressable spend.Validate category codes and reallocate where necessaryPerform spendanalytics and integrate data from the contract database to identify: Contract roadmaps and upcoming expirationsSuppliers without contracts or missing entries in the databaseRun system reports and compile monthly procurement reports and slide decksConduct invoice analysis and price list audits to ensure correct supplier chargesSupport global outsourcing projects with data collationMaintain and update SharePoint pages with process documents, FAQs, and SOPsMonitor and manage the procurement inboxRationalise product and category codes in PTP and upload price lists/product codesAssist with contract loading and new supplier approvalsUpdate and improve departmental templatesWhat you'll need to succeedAdvanced Excel skills (including macros) and strong Microsoft Office proficiency Procurement analytical experience desirableFamiliarity with ERP or PTP systems advantageousHighly organised, proactive self-starterPrevious procurement background preferredWhat you'll get in return Rate inc Hol pay up to £25.00 per hour.Hybrid working available - Initially, though will be 4 or 5 days on site in Milton Keynes, after the first few weeks can revert to 3 days' office-basedWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays EA is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
