JR196: CNC MillerLocation: Oswaldtwistle, LancashireSalary: Up To £16.38 Per Hour + 25% Shift PremiumOverview:  First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a CNC Miller on behalf of one of our clients.  Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Setting of the Departments CNC machinesEnsure the control of CNC programs is management through a structured processCreate / Edit CNC programs to ensure the process run at optimum performanceEnsure all cutting tools and inspection gauges are managed in a controlled mannerEnsure all current machine set-up sheets are up to date and controlledCreate new set up sheets to support new / revised setting plansManage the requirement for new tools / gauges / fixturing as and when requiredLead and be part of CI projects to improve productivity within the machine shopLiaise with the engineering department regards drawing issues / changesSkills and Qualifications:  Experience of working in an engineering environment with Fanuc CNC MachinesCNC Milling time served or qualificationsMust have the ability to set machines on NPD partsHave an understanding geometric tolerances and surface finishesAbility to pre-set cutting toolsBe familiar with a wide range of material including non-ferrous, Aluminium, Stainless steels & castingsLocation: Oswaldtwistle, LancashireSalary: Up To £16.38 Per Hour + 25% Shift Premium
