To learn more please visit About the role:The Warehouse Team Leader will ensure all areas of the warehouse function are structured to support timely dispatch of customer orders ensuring compliance with customers requirements and working to the standards set out by the company policies and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations. Analyzing data to drive continuous improvement. Organizing training to ensure the team have the required skills to meet the demand of the operation.Your key duties and responsibilities:To lead the team carrying out all aspects of warehouse processes: Goods In Pick Pack and dispatch process as per our quality standards and the customers requirementsInternal/external complaints resolutionAdhere to data protectionAddress and resolve any HR issues that may arise from the teamEnsure effective ongoing communication within AmcareResolving order queries with Care Centre (CC) teams Purchasing Department and/or Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) teamUsing PC (MS Office) and hand scanner for the processing of ordersSupport Associate Warehouse Manager in delivering Continuous Improvement projects within the DepartmentEnsures adherence to the Quality Management StandardsEnsures adherence to the EHS standards Policies and ProceduresEnsuring the warehouse is always clean and tidy including equipment and working areasLead the team in the stocktaking and cycle counting processesManage the administration of holidays with knowledge of the capacity planPerformance management of team using performance monitoring tools and dataIdentify and arrange training for the departmentPlan and allocate rotaTo ensure team follow all proceduresManage administration of holidays sicknesses disciplinary and investigationsSupport periodic reviews such as one to one mid-year and end of year interviewsTo perform any reasonable request from line management including providing cover in other departments when requiredOther duties as assigned.Skills & Experience:Educated to OLevel / GCSE standardExperience in a similar working environmentComputer literacy skills including MS OfficePeople management skillsWork as part of a teamThe ability to prioritize workloadThe ability to take direction and work to deadlinesExcellent communication/ listening skillsUnderstand and evaluate risk managementComputer literate including all MS Office programsQualifications/Education:Educated to OLevel / GCSE standardComputer literacy skills including MS Office.Travel Requirements:The position may involve occasional travel. Most trips will include overnight travel.Working Conditions:This role is based in the UK with an onsite working structure.Must be able to maintain and be responsible for a clean and safe working environment complying with the companies EHS policy.
