Principal Training Consultant

Our Training Solutions team is currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Training Consultant with a background in Defence, Energy or other safety critical sectors. We're passionate innovators driven by our values of Trust, Integrity, Innovation, and Excellence.To support effective collaboration and client delivery, you will ideally live within a commutable distance to Bristol.The Role Our Training Solutions team are delivery focused and specialise in advice and support on training architectural design and in delivery of the Training Solution, including the analysis of organisational training requirements, Human Factors Integration and evaluating the outcomes of transformational design change.Day to day, you will provide specialist consultancy services to clients. You will work closely with the Head of Training Analysis and Assurance and Training Services Director to support the identification and maturity of opportunities, understanding client requirements, and offering tailored solutions.Your responsibilities will include: Authoring high-quality training proposals and reportsDeveloping (D)SAT-compliant Training Needs Analysis through to Design and DeliveryDesigning training programmes and mediaConducting training evaluation and/or assuranceSupporting the conduct of training and educational researchSupporting the Training Director to develop future training businessCollaborating with client senior management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and colleaguesDeputising for the Head of Capability on an as-required basis from time to timeIn your first 3-6 months, success might look like: You have built strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clientsProduced high-quality proposals, reports, and deliverables that reflect Whitetree’s standardsDemonstrated confidence in applying DSAT/ADDIE methodologies in project environmentsSkills & experience required A skilled and trusted leader of people, projects, and teamsUse of JSP 822 and Training Standards (Defence), or equivalent requirements from other safety-critical sectorsKnowledge of the Human component of Capabilities and impact on trainingDevelopment of Competency FrameworksDevelopment of Training Needs Analyses that consider:The development and application of mental/physical skills and behavioural attributesCompetence retention and its psychological componentsMethod and media analysisThrough-life cost and training risk analysisConduct of Training Design that includes:Development of Design stages 1,2 & 3 elements; Formal Training Statements and component parts, Assessment and Learning SpecificationsAppreciation of multiple media development and designA detailed understanding of the SAT/ADDIE methodology from Analysis to EvaluationExperience in the analysis and design of SAT-compliant Individual TrainingOffer evidence of practical experience in the conduct of TNA in support of Team and Collective TrainingA proficient understanding of Defence Integrated Logistic ProgrammeVersed in Learning Management SystemsIdeally located within a commutable distance to BristolCurrent right to live and work in the UKCurrent SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance checkWillingness and ability to work from home and travel for client engagements, including overnight stays away from home around the UK when requiredLife at Whitetree At Whitetree, we are proud to provide a collaborative and supportive environment in which you can grow and develop your career, with the chance to work alongside some of the best people in the industry.We're proud to have recently become one of the select few Chartered Management Consultancies in the UK.
