The company began its journey in 1979 when the founding team designed and built the first electronic-point-of-sale (Epos) system to manage and control hotel operations. The technology is deployed in more than 16,000 sites across the UK.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of React Native applications from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Architect efficient and reusable components and libraries for future use.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices.
  • Able to zero-in on bugs without looking at the code, based on your experience and intuition.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into our development process as appropriate.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Use Native APIs for tight integrations with both platforms – Android, iOS & Windows.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, including state management, navigation, and data persistence.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and services.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a passion for finding elegant solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX Mockups
