About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Electical Inspector employed at a client site in Barrow in Furness.
The Role of the Electrical Inspector will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality team.
Qualifications:
- Production of inspection reports (non conformances, damage reporting etc) and associated project specific documents;
- Inspection hold point witnessing for sub contractors and site activities;
- Be an active stakeholder in the process of Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plan's (ITP's) including completion and sign off;
- Review of Materail certificates/CoCs related to electrical scope;
- Visit sub contractor facilities to carry out inspections, witness FAT tests and review of Life Time Records;
- Major Stakeholder in the creation of Life Time Quality Record packs;
- 18th Edition;
- City & Guilds electrical inspection and testing;
- 3-5 years' experience in on site electrical inspection and testing including familiarity with panel building/testing;
- Time served electrician.
Here's what you'll need:
- UK National, single Nationality;
- Ability to understand specifications and construction drawings. (Mandatory);
- Strong electrical inspection experience. (Mandatory);
- Clear understanding of Goods Inwards procedures;
- Understand the requirements for engagement with client QA/QC;
- SC clearance desirable.
