Job Overview:

CLASS 2 HGV MULTI DROP DRIVER (working within the food delivery business) Chepstow area (NP16)

5am starts (9 hours per day)

Working with one of the leading Food distribution companies within the UK delivering to Schools , Care Homes , Hotels , Local shops

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations using a Box units.

Duties:

- Drive Class 2 lorries to transport good to designated locations

- Load and unload safely and securely

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after each trip

- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times

- Maintain accurate driving logs and records

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues

- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines

Qualifications:

- Hold a valid Commercial Driving Licence

  • CPC , DIGI and Less than 6 Points
  • 12 Months Driving a similar vehicle

- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with flatbed experience
