About the roleResponsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas within the Bodyshop including the general maintenance of the site grounds and buildings.Key responsibilitiesEnsure the clean and hygienic maintenance of the Bodyshop is to a high standardEnsure strict adherence to all health and safety rules (COSHH)Notify management of deficiencies or repairs requiredPerform and document routine inspection and maintenance activitiesFollow all health and safety regulationsGrounds maintenance including; hedge trimming grass cutting weeding clearing snow/ice from pathways aiding skip removal litter picking and fence paintingInterior maintenance including; painting using the floor cleaner in the workshop and periodically applying new lining to paint booth walls.Responsible for car parks and positioning of vehicles on site including moving vehicles into the workshop for techniciansMoving vehicles for total losses to be collected or dropped off and ensuring they are positioned correctly and safelySkills and experienceSite maintenance experience in the Bodyshop industryKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesFamiliarity with Material Safety Data SheetsBenefits33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Personal health cash plan claim back the cost of things like dentist and optical check upsEnhanced maternity / paternity / adoption / shared parental payLife assurance: three times basic salaryFree breakfasts and fruitBirthday surprise for everybodyWhat you can expect from usAt Activate Group looking after team members is a major priority.
