Job descriptionJob title: Security Officer Newcastle Upon Tyne Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne UK Employment type: Part Time Salary: 12.21 per hour Hours: Average 42.5 hours per week Shifts: shift pattern will be a 4 on 4 off rotation (Nights but with a possibility of days when required) About the roleWe are seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team at a busy business park in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will work from one of two security cabins controlling access and egress and patrolling the site to ensure it remains safe and secure. What youll be doingControl access and egress to the business park from security cabinsMonitor site activity and respond to incidents promptlyConduct regular patrols to maintain site security ( The patrols are up to 45 minutes long so applicants need to be Physically Fit)Complete accurate log reports and site recordsProvide assistance and information to visitors and staffLiaise with emergency services if required What were looking forSIA licence essentialPrevious security experience preferred but not essential (training provided)Strong communication skills and professional presentationReliability vigilance and attention to detailPhysically able to conduct site patrolsFlexibility to work occasional day shifts when needed What we offer12.21 per hourAverage 42 hours per weekStable shift patternSupportive team environmentOpportunities for development About BritsafeWith over 30 years of industry experience Britsafe is a trusted name in delivering exceptional security services.
