As an EL/PL Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of claims, providing high-quality legal advice to clients, and negotiating settlements on their behalf. This role requires a meticulous approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Handle a caseload of EL/PL claims from inception to settlement or litigation.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients, providing clear and timely communication about their cases and the legal process.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering evidence, and liaising with experts when required.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with insurers and other parties, aiming for the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Litigation: Prepare cases for litigation, drafting court documents, and representing clients in court if needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements, following firm policies and industry regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other fee earners, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure seamless case management.
