Group Reporting & Consolidation Advisor | Natural Resources (Oil & Gas) | London


A joint venture between two of the supermajors in the oil & gas industry, this is an unbelievable opportunity to join a company that is experiencing large growth in the market.


Day rate = £350 - £400 (Depending on relevant experience)


Office location = Bank, London

Hybrid working - 3 days in office (Initially it will be majority office hours)


This role is intended to be an initial 6 month contract, with a move to permanent following after 6 months.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead the accounting & financial support by collaborating on delivery of Statutory accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, supporting the audit process from planning to completion.
  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support in the timely and accurate delivery of quarterly shareholder reporting and addressing additional shareholder requests.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting, with exposure to group reporting activities, preferably with BIG 4 experience.
  • Oil & Gas sector experience is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and strong technical accounting skills.
  • Experience with ERP system and ability to develop analytical tools optimizing system reports.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
