About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevSecOps Engineer for a 6-month contract, with a strong potential for extension. This remote role is available to candidates located in either Poland or Romania. As part of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our security practices within the SDLC, infrastructure, network, and application layers, working with cutting-edge security tools to safeguard our Azure environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work extensively on implementing security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), focusing on:
  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
  • Container Security
  • Collaborate on vulnerability assessment, evaluation, and mitigation:
  • Understand and classify vulnerabilities
  • Implement effective remediation strategies
  • Apply best security practices to strengthen our security posture
  • Proactively identify security weaknesses within the environment and drive enhancements
  • Contribute to infrastructure, network, and application security initiatives to prevent unauthorized access and potential threats
  • Align with regulatory measures, understand risk factors, and implement essential controls


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Proficiency in the following tools:
  • Azure Sentinel for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
  • Azure Defender for integrated threat protection
  • Checkov for cloud infrastructure security scanning
  • Qualys for vulnerability management and assessment
  • Proven experience with security practices across infrastructure, network, and application layers
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and necessary controls
