Guidant Global is working in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council to recruit a Maintenance Technician with experience as an Electrician to work across a number of sites in Hertfordshire. The role will require you to perform site inspections, repairs and general upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds to ensure safety and functionality. Key duties: Responding to repair requests Conducting routine and preventative maintenance Managing work orders and keeping detailed records of tasks performed Maintaining equipment Carry out plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs Decorating of communal areas Checking and maintaining safety features including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectorsRequirements for the role: Technical experience to include plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and mechanical systems Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues A full manual driving licence Physical stamina, dexterity, and the ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces Electrician qualificationAlongside working your standard hours, you will be added to the on-call rota. Additional payment will be made for the occasions you are called out.
