OverviewWe’re recruiting the new Centre Director at this retail & leisure complex, which was part of one of the largest town centre regenerations in the UK. With accountability for 1millionsqft of retail & leisure, your main objective will be to enhance asset performance through team leadership, strategic business planning, working closely with key external stakeholders, and more.What you’ll be doing * You will lead the strategic direction of the centre, working closely with the asset managers & surveyors. * Leading a substantial onsite team, including multiple direct reports and a wider contracted team of facilities services, you will inspire, encourage, and empower a collaborative, commercial and ambitious working culture. * You will be the face of the destination and key interface with tenants, local authorities, the local community, the landlord, the local BID and customers. * You will bring vigour and vitality to the role and foster effective relationships with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.Why explore this role? * There is a planned development to increase further retail & leisure offerings, for the customers & local community. * The landlord is a fund manager, with the ability to continue to invest in the destination. * Competitive package including a negotiable salary dependent on qualifications and experience. * Working with exceptional industry leaders and mentor that will support you in your personal and professional development.To be successful, you will need… * Experience as a Shopping Centre Manager or a senior management position within retail. * To be a proven and inspiring leader of large teams. * To be adaptable to a broad range of stakeholders with varying specialisms, personalities, and objectives. * Experience & expertise in managing service charge budgets.Next steps… * Apply via this advert
