Join us at Baker Perkins where we push boundaries in the food industry.Field Service Engineer UK & International travel This exciting opportunity with worldwide travel will see you providing site-based mechanical & electrical service and upgrade work to our valued customers. Representing the company and product range across the EMEA region you will uphold health & safety standards within the allocated time and budgeted cost. This role is Peterborough based; however you will get to travel both within the UK and overseas to support customers around the world.Your job will be to Provide hands-on mechanical and electrical engineering field support for the full range of EMEA equipment.Provide all aspects of customer support from general service visits equipment refurbishments re-builds & upgrades to relocation of customers existing equipment and customer training.Promotion of lifetime support to customers and helping to secure new business opportunities.As required technically support Aftermarket activities in the office and work in the factory assembly department.Ensure that health & safety rules and best practice is always adhered to.Ensure that the correct tools and equipment are used for the job.Produce reports following each customer visit detailing work completed.Comply with the above to be carried out anywhere in the world to suit the needs of the business. Travel can be from a few days to a few weeks at a time depending on the customer and job required.As the successful Field Service Engineer you will demonstrate the following skills and experiences: Ideally a time-served skilled electro-mechanical engineer with ONC/HNC or equivalent work experience.On-site electrical and mechanical experience is required.Be self-motivated with the ability to work alone but still be part of a team.Customer focussed with excellent communication skills and a successful track record of developing customer relationships.Good PC skills (Word Excel etc.)Willingness to travel (occasionally at short notice) and work on customer sites both in the UK and overseas.Hold a valid driving license.Knowledge of the existing product range would be an advantage but is not essential.Join us to Shape What Matters for TomorrowWho we are:Coperion is an industry leader in compounding and extrusion feeding and weighing bulk material handling and service bringing a wealth of know-how and experience to the market.
