Role / Job Title:Datapower DeveloperWork Location: London 250 Bishopsgate (Onsite)The RoleAs aDatapower Developer , you will be working closely with the technical team on development and implementation journeys. The role is centered on enabling and securing data flows between various enterprise systems, including mobile applications, cloud services, and legacy mainframe systems.Your Responsibilities:Provide expert support and timely resolution of environmental issues related to the project, focusing on DataPower appliances and related infrastructure. Develop, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower Gateway services to meet project requirements. Collaborate closely with mainframe teams to understand interdependence and troubleshoot integration points where necessary. Monitor AWS cloud resources including CloudWatch for logging and alerting, DynamoDB for database management, and AWS Lambda for serverless compute tasks related to project workflows. Implement best practices for environment stability, performance tuning, and security compliance. Produce detailed technical documentation, status reports, and issue logs for ongoing support and knowledge sharing. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, infrastructure engineers, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues and alignment on priorities. Work on automation using but not limited to Python, Shell scripting, GitLab pipeline. Your ProfileEssential Skills / Knowledge / Experience:Proven experience in IBM DataPower development, configuration, and troubleshooting within enterprise environments. Familiarity with mainframe systems and integration with DataPower where applicable. Good working knowledge of AWS services, particularly CloudWatch, DynamoDB, and Lambda, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate technical issues and solutions. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
