Junior Infrastructure Penetration Tester – UK Based - £25k-£40k


As a Junior Penetration Tester, with a focus on Infrastructure testing, you will get the opportunity to conduct penetration test within a commercial environment, producing written reports to appropriate standards and within agreed deadlines.


This position boasts a well-rounded opportunity to further develop your Penetration testing skillset within a variety of projects, and presents a clear pathway of progression and career development for the successful individual.


Junior Penetration Tester Responsibilities include;

  • Use your knowledge to assist and undertake internal penetration test's and in-depth penetration/forensic assessments to recommending remedial technical and non-technical solutions where necessary.
  • Assist in the development of security tools and the newest cutting-edge technology for future use and implementation within the business and for use on projects.
  • Deliver thorough analyses through in-depth written reports and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Get the opportunity to work towards your OSCP, CRTO or Crest certifications such as CPSA whilst getting a healthy training budget to pursue further accreditations.



Junior Penetration Tester Requirements include;

  • Commercial experience within the Offensive Domain and experience conducting external penetration tests
  • Broad cyber-security knowledge (red teaming, vulnerability assessments)
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills are key for this position
  • Strong understanding of a diverse range of security tools and exploits.
  • Passionate to further knowledge within offensive security e.g. CTF, HacktoBox, Further Reading, Lab work, etc.
  • UK SC clearance (Must have)
