Job Title: Senior Client Proposition ManagerDepartment: CCOLocation: LondonContract Type: 12 month secondment / fixed termThe RoleTo support client proposition activity within Rathbones aligned with Group strategy including design development delivery and ongoing ownership. Ensure client need satisfaction and experience are key components of future proposition development.Outcomes of the RoleManage the development and deployment of a range of client facing propositions that are calibrated to meet multiple client needs recognising life-stage investment risk appetite and channel preferences. Proposition development should be conceived at both individual and portfolio level.Ongoing ownership of specific propositions including periodic review KPI monitoring (commercial client risk conduct) utilisation and alignment to client segmentation strategyMarket scanning and reporting in place to improve benchmarking for fair value; VFM for clients; total costs to client; competitor awareness; business leadership knowledge and decision making. Ongoing consideration of new analysis tools e.g. behavioural economics.Proposition choice criteria to include client insights brand channel/target market marketing strategyClient and User Experience design standards that deliver against brand client expectations and proposition promises recognising Rathbones blend of human and digital contact points.Show leadership in managing and resolving live proposition issues coordinating resource to ensure bottlenecks and problems are escalated and resolvedWork closely with teams across group to ensure processes are lean efficient and support growthManagement of 3rd party suppliers/contractors. Ensure they are engaged and committed to supporting our objectives and that actions are delivered in a timely fashion.Elevates and champions client experience group-wide; setting standards of continuous improvement.Contribute towards the continuing development of the Group by participating in projects committees and other activities as requested from time to time.Champion lean processes and continuous improvement across proposition delivery.Troubleshoot live proposition issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution effortsKnowledge & ExperienceRelevant business experience preferably in Wealth and/or Asset Mgmt.Proven track record in senior proposition or strategy roles within wealth management having track record to design develop and own client-facing propositions.Technical background in financial services.Demonstrated ability to guide strategic investments and enhancements.Professional investment qualification BA/MBA desirable.Outstanding communication and presentation skills and experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.Strong project management skills and proactive problem-solver with a bias for action and continuous improvement.Ability to consolidate facts and produce credible recommendationsGood attention to detailAble to work unsupervisedWorking Relationships - Actively seek to build constructive relationships and networks both internally and externallyOutline knowledge of investment vehicles and investment marketsA sound understanding of the investment process .Strategic thinking with operational execution with broad understanding of settlement and operational processes.Life at RathbonesWe aim to become an employer of choice for the wealth management sector to achieve this we are working hard to build a diverse equal and inclusive workplace that motivates develops and embraces the strengths of all our colleagues.
