Our client, a large Global Bank is seeking to hire a candidate in a senior leadership role, supporting in developing and delivering a new Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework. The objective is to manage outsourced and third-party services in line with policy and regulatory standards across the EMEA region.


As the Head of TPRM, you will build and lead a team responsible for implementing TPRM processes, ensuring the effective oversight and risk management of third-party activities. You will collaborate closely with vendor stewards, service managers, and various business units to embed the TPRM function across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities


• Team Leadership & Framework Implementation: Lead the TPRM team within EMEA Finance, implementing the TPRM framework in coordination with regional offices and the Head Office.

• Process Management: Establish a robust process and control environment for effective TPRM, ensuring compliance with regional regulatory requirements, such as DORA, EBA, and PRA standards.

• Operating Model Execution: Deploy the target operating model across EMEA, integrating framework rollout, tooling, governance, and reporting mechanisms.

• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and address regulatory changes, identifying new TPRM requirements and adjusting processes accordingly.

• Third-Party Oversight: Build a comprehensive third-party inventory, including risk ratings and ongoing vendor monitoring, working with Procurement and other relevant departments.

• Inter-Affiliate Management: Develop mechanisms for managing inter-affiliate relationships, ensuring consistency in templates, governance, and collaboration with tax colleagues on applicable recharges.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective third-party risk mitigation and adherence to regulatory expectations.

• TPRM Knowledge Sharing: Act as an ambassador for TPRM, sharing expertise across the organisation and supporting the development of a centre of excellence.

• Audit & Compliance Reporting: Deliver TPRM reporting for audit, compliance, and risk reviews, and manage self-identified issues and key risk indicators (KRIs).

• Operational Resilience Collaboration: Partner with Operational Resilience teams to manage outsourced services for Important Business Services (IBS) effectively.


Work Experience Requirements


Essential:

• Proven experience leading a TPRM function, with a track record of managing complex vendor relationships and adding value through strategic partnership.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and embedding TPRM frameworks and creating lean operating models within large, matrixed organisations.

• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional engagement.


Preferred:

• Experience in a global financial services or investment banking environment, working with both internal and external stakeholders.


Skills and Competencies


Technical Competencies:

• Strong experience with TPRM process implementation, including oversight and escalation points.

• Proficiency in industry benchmarking, best practices, and reporting cadence setup.

• Ability to produce dashboards and reporting materials to identify emerging risks and manage audit and regulatory requests.

• Familiarity with procurement and vendor management in relation to compliance and risk assessments.
