Part time PPA cover teacher role in Northwich - 4 days per week Your new companyHays education are proudly working in partnership with an OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school in Northwich who are on the lookout for a PPA cover teacher to join their until Easter. This is a part time 4 days per week position and the right candidate must be able to work flexibly across KS1 and KS2.
Your new role
Your new role is vital in maintaining continuity for pupils' learning and ensuring that teachers have the time they need to fulfil their planning, preparation and assessment duties effectively. As a PPA cover teacher, your duties will include but not be limited too;
  • Delivering engaging preplanned lessons provided by the class teacher
  • To ensure effective teaching of all pupils both inside and outside the classroom
  • Mark and monitor pupils' work and set targets for progress
  • To promote good behaviour and discipline within the policies and procedures of the school
  • Communicating effectively with the class teachers to ensure continuity and progression
  • What you’ll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to have:
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Experience of delivering up-to-date curriculum.
  • Be able to flexibly work across all key stages
  • An up-to-date DBS or willingness to get one
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
