Role: Director of Information Security

Location: London

Salary: £110,000+


Locke & McCloud have partnered with a market- leading SaaS company who is looking for an experienced Director of Information Security. This individual will have a proven track record in managing security systems and ensuring compliance with standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).


This opportunity involves working cross- functionally with supporting teams taking a strategic 360 approach to security. You must be prepared to influence good security practices across this global organisation & lead from the front.


The ideal candidate will have global experience in managing teams globally, as well as operational security experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, oversee and implement cyber security initiatives and collaborate closely with other departments.
  • Foster and embed a culture of security awareness & best practice throughout the entire organisation.
  • Act as the point of contact in cases of breach and oversee mitigation & recovery.
  • • Assess cyber risks and vulnerabilities across our business environments, applications, infrastructure, and data assets.
  • Work closely with third party vendors and take on the responsibility of implementing improvements.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address security and privacy concerns.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes in the cybersecurity landscape, and proactively adapt security strategies and controls as needed.



About you:

  • Experience in working with third party vendors.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with ISO 27001, SOC 2 and NIST.
  • CISSP/ CISM certification (preferable).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in leading a global cyber security team.
  • A collaborative cyber security professional, adept at working cross- functionally and an ability to influence and mentor team members.
  • Proven track record of driving change and transformation within a business.
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating system vulnerabilities.
