We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager for our client, a leading marketing agency in the UK. This role is for a 6-month maternity cover, with the potential for extension.


The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the marketing plan across three key areas:


Promoting Core Marketing Services: Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase brand awareness and client engagement.

Marketing the Life Science Newswire Service: Create and manage campaigns to showcase this unique news distribution product.

Developing Inbound Recruitment Initiatives: Produce high-quality content to attract top talent and enhance the employer brand.


Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Collect and analyse customer and market insights to guide strategic and tactical marketing plans.
  • Define and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as required.
  • Take a hands-on approach to execution, creating social media content, website copy, and other marketing materials as needed.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, ideally within a marketing agency or a fast-paced services company. Essential skills include:

  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Healthcare industry experience is not required however highly desired.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • The right to work in the UK without additional sponsorship.

  • A passion for marketing and a history of successful campaign execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • A high level of professionalism and a results-driven approach.
