Head of Group Reporting | Central London | Property | £95,000 to £115,000 plus Package/Bonus


Goodman Masson are exclusively partnering with a multi-entity Property organisation on their search for a new Head of Group Reporting. Central London office with flexible hybrid working on offer, 2 in office 3 at home but you can flex upwards if you prefer.


This role will lead the team responsible for the delivery of the consolidated management and statutory reporting requirements. This will include managing annual reporting, interim half-year results, quarterly business performance, and developing key supporting insights for the board on those results.


The role reports directly up into a fantastic Group Financial Controller, with succession planning into this role in the future.


Main responsibilities will cover:

  • External reporting: preparation of the quarterly press release and presentation slides
  • Internal group management reporting
  • Group financial statements, statutory accounts
  • Main contact for group audit team ensuring a timely and high-quality audit is delivered
  • Oversee quarterly reporting, monthly group consolidation
  • Internal reporting: month-end close process, liaising with divisions on technical issues/queries and reviewing their monthly/quarterly financials
  • Acquisition accounting and intangible valuations
  • Review of BU financials and group consolidation
  • Reporting of group/central entities, annual goodwill impairment model, group office and central entity budget process and review of the business unit submissions in consolidating the group budget

About you:

  • ACA qualified with 6 +years PQE
  • Experience in a group function post practice, ideally having managed a complex multi-currency consolidation
  • Team management experience
