Our long-standing reputation is built on trust support and reliability within the healthcare community.Job Title: General Practice Nurse Direct Medics are currently seeking a General Practice Nurse to work on a permanent basis in a new forward-thinking private GP Practice. The practice is dedicated to delivering personalised high-quality care and features a partner laboratory offering sameday diagnostic results and an onsite research & development facilityproviding an excellent environment for professional growth and the opportunity to pursue your own clinical interests or research initiatives.Essential criteria: Valid NMC registered Minimum of 3 years of experience working within general practice Demonstrated competence in: Phlebotomy Performing ECGs Strong clinical assessment attention to detail and patientcentred communication skills Proficiency with healthcare IT systems and accurate recordkeepingDesirable criteria: Experience in chronic disease management clinics (e.g. diabetes COPD cardiovascular disease) Training or experience with additional diagnostics (e.g. VO max BMI body fat index exercise testing spirometry peak flow) Familiarity with clinical governance audit and continuous quality improvement processesPrevious private healthcare experience and subspecialty interests (e.g. rheumatology womens health sports medicine) would also be desirable.
