Utility Mapping Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utility Surveyor with a Pro Qual Level 3 Diploma as a minimum in Utility Mapping & Surveying qualification to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting detailed surveys to identify map and record underground utilities and infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects utilise state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the growth and success of our company.About the role:Location: LeedsHours: Mon - Friday (7am - 5pm - 45 hours per week)Salary: 37 500.00 per annum21 days holiday bank holidaysLife Assurance schemeAuto enrolment pension schemeFree parking on siteAs a Utilities Mapping Surveyor you will:Conduct comprehensive utility surveys using advanced surveying techniques and equipment.Accurately identify locate and map underground utilities including water gas electricity telecommunications and sewer systems.Utilise Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) electromagnetic locators and other surveying tools to collect data and create detailed utility maps.Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to ensure survey objectives are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations while working in diverse environments and conditions.Provide technical expertise and support to junior surveying staff as needed.Experience and qualifications required for the role:Level 3 minimum qualification in Utility Mapping and Surveying or equivalent.Proven experience working as a Utility Surveyor preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as GPR electromagnetic locators total stations and GPS systems.Competent in gathering survey data and have experience with survey software including n4ce / LSS / CAD.Clear understanding of PAS128.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbout the Lanes GroupThe Lanes Group are the UKs largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions and services we play a vital role in always maintaining the seamless operations of the nations water systems.Formed in 1992 our half a billion-pound turnover ensures continued expansion for market share.
