This is a manufacturing business with a fantastic reputation supplying a client base across the UK, with a strong culture in future investment and an annual apprentice intake.

The Bench Hand Joiner Candidate:

  • Experience working with furniture or bespoke joinery experience - Desirable
  • Experience working with MDF & Laminates - Essential
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to comprise, read and interpret cutting lists
  • Assembly of furniture
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Experience with Spindle Moulder, Panel Tool, Tenoners, Morticer, Bandsaw, Ripsaw, Crosscut, Cordless drills, Jigsaw, Router, Belt sander, Electric planer, Biscuit joiner, Miter saw, Table sawEdgebander, Nail & pin guns.
  • Fill sand and finish wooden products
  • Work in a safe manner, adhering to company procedures
