Your new role

As Global Director Offshore Wind Substations you will lead and manage Rambolls global Offshore Wind Substations Service Area ensuring alignment with the companys Partner for Sustainable Change strategy. You will drive growth oversee major projects and strengthen key client relationships in Europe North America and AsiaPacific.

You will be responsible for the service areas strategy financial performance governance and operations ensuring highquality project execution and innovation in design excellence digitalization and sustainable engineering. Working closely with senior leaders you will develop crossfunctional collaboration and enhance Rambolls position as a global leader in offshore wind substations.

Reporting to the Global Executive Director Wind you will also lead a team of senior project directors and technical experts and people managers ensuring efficient resource allocation business development and the expansion of Rambolls offshore wind capabilities worldwide.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the global Offshore Wind Substations strategy in line with Rambolls overall business priorities.
  • Develop and implement the business plan for the Offshore Wind Substations Service Line focusing on growth financial performance and innovation.
  • Lead the management team ensuring effective leadership selection and an optimized organizational structure.
  • Develop and lead a core team of senior project directors and technical experts to support global project execution.
  • Act as a thought leader and public face of Offshore Wind Substations representing Ramboll in key industry forums client meetings and business development activities.
  • Drive growth and expand Rambolls market presence by strengthening relationships with key clients developers utilities and strategic partners.
  • Ensure financial accountability for the service line including budgeting forecasting and performance tracking against global KPIs.
  • Lead proposal management and ensure high win rates on major offshore wind substation projects.
  • Oversee the standardization of global data and processes ensuring efficiency in bid preparation project execution and resource allocation.
  • Ensure bestpractice project management knowledge sharing and alignment with Rambolls global project execution model.
  • Maintain accountability for HSEQ (Health Safety Environment and Quality) and compliance within the service line.
  • Oversee and approve hiring decisions for key roles ensuring strategic workforce planning and capability development.

Your new team

You will join a fastgrowing innovative department working closely with Rambolls Executive Board to accelerate global growth within offshore wind substations. Working within Rambolls Wind Sector organisation youll collaborate with 900 wind experts and continue to support developing Ramboll as the worldleading consultancy within wind energy.

About you

  • A masters degree in engineering energy systems business management or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience within the offshore wind sector preferably in substation design development or delivery.
  • Experience leading complex multinational organizations where influence and collaboration are key.
  • Strong business development skills with a proven track record in driving profitable growth and building longterm client relationships.
  • International and cultural awareness with experience operating in global markets particularly Europe North America and AsiaPacific.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • A wellestablished industry network built over years of engagement with key stakeholders.
  • A leadership style that is inspiring strategic and resultsdriven.
  • The ability to lead by example demonstrating integrity impartiality and sound judgment in all interactions.
