Job Title: Yard Operations Manager Responsible to:- Managing Director Responsible for:- Foremen and service delivery staff Location:- Cornwall based - projects abroad (Europe) as required. Remuneration:- £45k - £50k plus benefits & performance related bonus Job description, role and responsibilities:- The main purpose of this role is to manage and deliver the company’s service offering to our clients in a high quality, timely, effective and profitable manner. In association with the Managing Director and support staff, these are the essence of our business offering – their smooth and efficient running is critical to the business’s growth ambitions. Client management responsibilities This role will require the candidate to:- Meet clients, inspect their craft, promote the services of the company and underpin their confidence in our activities. Appraise the client’s requirements and assess the work methods to be deployed, detailing and pricing the same. Present the solution in a timely, understandable and within brand manner for the clients consideration and subsequent instruction. Schedule the work through the company systems and instruct departments/staff/contractors to undertake the same. Adjust and communicate the schedule to the meet the work/client requirements.
