Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses such as Marks & Spencer, and Morrisons and Waitrose in the UK. The Assurance Technologist will report directly to the Senior Quality Supervisor and are responsible for ensuring all product meets Customer and Company standards Key Responsibilities Assessing all products before dispatch to ensure match agreed customer standards Collecting samples when required from the factory Recording and reporting of results with active involvement in investigations of any out of specification and improvement plans Trending of any taste panel issues using Foods Connected System Maintenance of taste panel rota and attendance to ensure fully compliant with customer standards Complete bought from store and benchmarking sessions to ensure product consistency To taste end of life product to ensure that life of product is achievable Providing administrative support to the QA/Tech team Maintaining and update records and databases Assist in post launch reviews and shelf-life monitoring Active involvement in trials of new products/changes to recipes Any other duties deemed reasonable by Senior Quality Supervisor Essential 2 years experience within Quality Role or hold a Food Related Degree Strong problem-solving skills Desirable Root Cause Training Level 3 Food Safety Level 3 HACCP The shift for this role is: Monday - Friday 0800-1630 Skills: Quality Assurance Problem Solving Root Cause Analysis Food Safety HACCP
