Java Software Engineer III

DescriptionWe have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Securities Services Technology specifically the Instruction Capture sub-line of business your role will be pivotal in an agile team focusing on the enhancement design and delivery of our innovative technology products. Your responsibilities will encompass the execution of software solutions including the design development and technical troubleshooting of various components within a technical product application or system. This position offers a great opportunity to refine your skills and accumulate valuable experience for career progression.Job responsibilitiesExecutes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implicationsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automationGathers analyzes synthesizes and develops visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure stable application developmentProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respectRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experienceHands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stabilityProficient in coding in one or more languages such as: Java (11 or 21) and Java EE using Java Frameworks such as Spring & Hibernate React and JavaScriptStrong knowledge of design patterns and their application in problem solvingExperience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages like Oracle or Sybase and industry standard tools like Jenkins JUnit Maven and GitHands-on experience working on messaging technologies like JMS and MQOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)Preferred qualifications capabilities and skillsFamiliarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologies PCF AWS Key Skills Access Control System,Engineering,Bar Management,Jpa,Law,Jdbc Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
